I still remember the unmistakable flavor of the mango I ate during my trip to Bali. We were in this hotel in the middle of the rice fields of Ubud, in an area where you could only get there on foot or at maximum by scooter. The girl who ran the hotel brought us fresh mango every morning for breakfast, a divine flavor. To relive those flavors I propose the mango smoothie.

My mango shake can almost be mistaken for the famous mango Lassi, a traditional Indian yogurt drink. The difference is that the mango Lassi is usually prepared with spices such as cardamom and cumin, which tend to dampen the sweetness and make the drink suitable to accompany meals.

Ingredients

  • 180gr of frozen mango
  • 250gr of yogurt
  • 65ml of coconut milk

  1. Add all the ingredients in a blender, and blend to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  2. Serve adding your favorite ingredients (I used pistachio and coconut flakes)
