When I was little I did not like kiwis very much, I found them sour and really inconvenient to eat. The luck was that not even my parents are too fond of kiwis, so I did not see many of them at home. Since I’m with Graziano, however, every winter we are submerged. At the beginning was the father who supplied us because he had a kiwi tree, now I do not know where they come from, but I have to quintals. So I had to appreciate the taste almost forcibly 🙂 So now I propose this breakfast/dessert of kiwi glasses with chia seeds and soy yogurt.

The kiwi is a fruit with many beneficial properties useful to the body. Its main characteristic is the high content of vitamin C, even higher than orange and lemon. It is rich in minerals, refreshing thirst-quenching and diuretic. It protects against infections as it stimulates the formation of antibodies and strengthens the immune system. Unfortunately, not everyone can eat kiwis, in fact this fruit is part of the list of food allergies. Kiwi is also very effective in the prevention of depression, fatigue and disorders of the digestive system.

As you may have already guessed by the name it takes exactly 5 minutes for this recipe, just long enough to peel the kiwis. This was my breakfast today, a glass of vitamin C accompanied by soy yogurt.

  • 8 kiwis
  • half lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 300gr soy yogurt

  1. Peel the kiwis and reduce them to puree.
  2. Add the chia seeds, lemon juice and stir.
  3. Put the mixture in the glasses and add the soy yogurt on top.
  4. Decorate with other fruits, spices or chocolate to taste.
