Many people say that helping your immune system with plants doesn’t really work, but from my experience I think it certainly doesn’t hurt at all. This citrus and ginger juice is the best way to start the day, thanks to the abundant amounts of orange and lemon vitamin C and the anti-inflammatory power of raw ginger. Graziano and I have tried it as a breakfast without sugar or sweeteners, but if you want you can add maple syrup or honey to taste.

The main goal is to get a rapid boost of immunostimulating vitamins and minerals in your system. You don’t need to swallow huge doses, you can simply prepare a small portion and throw it down, in tequila style 🙂
The more often you take them, the better, especially during the cold months.

Arancia, limone e zenzero

I filtered the juice because I don’t like the fleshy consistency, but if you prefer you can keep the pulp and enjoy your citrus and ginger juice the way you like it 🙂

  • 1 lemon
  • 2 oranges
  • 15g of fresh ginger

  1. Squeeze the orange and lemon juice. Put the pulp obtained in a mixer and set aside the juice.
  2. Wash and chop ginger.
  3. Put the ginger in the mixer and let it go with the pulp and some juice.
  4. Strain the mix into the lemon and orange juice and the recipe is ready!
